The reporter learned from the Anhui Economic and Information Committee that the province has promoted a new round of large-scale technological transformation in 2017, achieving rapid growth in industrial and technological transformation investment, and the accumulative investment of technological transformation amounts to 735.29 billion yuan, an year-on-year increase of 18%, 7.5 percentage points higher than that of 2016, and the growth rate reached a new high since 2013.

 

“Investment in competitive industries dominated by advanced manufacturing industries has grown rapidly, and industrial green transformation has accelerated.” According to the relevant official in charge of the Technical Transformation Department of the Anhui Economic and Information Commission, in 2017, the province’s manufacturing industry has achieved a total investment of 682.16 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.3%, accounting for 92.8% of technological transformation investment of industry. Among them, industries of electronic information, automobiles and pharmaceuticals increased by 33.1%, 26.9% and 22.2% respectively. Technological transformation investment of industries of petroleum processing, coking and nuclear fuel processing, and ferrous metal mining and dressing fell sharply by 27.4% and 45.4% respectively.

 

It is acknowledged that in 2017, Anhui Province has implemented a total of 1,381 key technological transformation projects of more than 100 million yuan. Among them, 406 were newly started and 292 were completed. A number of new projects such as the production line transformation project of the Chery engine, the production project of the diesel engine for all-diesel and high-end agricultural equipment and construction machinery, and the production project of Tongling ultra-thin and non-ferrous electronic copper foil with high-precision and used for energy storage, have been launched and put into operation. A number of projects have been already under construction, such as Hefei BOE 10.5 generation line and the core equipment industrialization project of Yingliu marine engineering equipment, are implemented as planned.
